Dr. Narendra Gupta holds a rare combination of credentials. He is trained both Physician and research scientist and served as a professor at leading institutions. Dr. Gupta graduated from City University of New York with a Doctorate (Ph.D.) and (M.Phil. and M.A.) degrees in Biochemistry and another Master (M.S.) in Microbiology. He completed a clinical research fellowship in Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. Cardiology research fellowship at the New Jersey University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, and Reproductive Endocrinology fellowship at Rutgers University.
Dr. Gupta served as an Associate Professor at the University of New York and Long Island University. He specialized in Internal Medicine and completed internship at the University Hospital of UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School, Newark and residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center, New Jersey. He completed clinical clerkships at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Cornell Medical School affiliated hospitals. Dr. Gupta is a member of American College of Physicians and Sigma XI and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gupta is widely published in major journals and welcomes clinically complicated and challenging patients.
